What's your budget?
Α guest at Polis Grand Hotel has several options to choose from depending on the budget he has in mind. 
We offer several rate options depending on the time, the duration, or on the payment conditions.

Does the Hotel offer free Wi-Fi?
Nowadays we all need to have internet access 24/7 either for business or just for your free time.  Free WiFi connectivity is one of the services that we offer in every room and public space( lobby, bars, restaurants) of Polis Grand Hotel and we think every hotel guest should have for free in our days.
Do you accept families with young children?
We can understand what a couple’s travelling with children needs are thus we offer free cribs or and extra beds (depending on child’s age) –just request for it prior to your arrival at Polis Grand Hotel. Preparing a meal for your baby will not be a problem nor to find a baby sitter. High chairs are available at the restaurants.
Do you provide a concierge service?
Here at Polis Grand Hotel we  provide personalized concierge service to give our guests an insider’s view of Athens City. This includes assistance with transportation, theater tickets, city tours, flower deliveries, restaurant reservations and more. Can you arrange excursions and activities for me?
Polis Grand Hotel can get information; get assistance or book from a variety of excursions and activities. Whether it is a city tour to quick explore Athen’s major attractions like visiting Acropolis, the Parliament etc., an Athens walking tour or and food tour, a daily boat excursion to nearby islands (Hydra, Aegina, Poros), excursions to Delphi, Olympia or Meteora or activities. Our concierge staff will be more than thrilled to help you.
What travel documents do I need to carry with me?
Usually your passport or EU ID is enough, unless a special regulation from your country obliges you for more. Don’t forget your driving license if you are planning to rent a car.
Can I have an early check in as I arrive early in the morning?
We will do our best to allow early check in provided that your assigned  room is empty and clean.
May I request a late check out?
Please contact our reception team on you departure day. Depending on our availability we may offer a later check out (for free or on surcharge), otherwise we will hold your luggage until your flight leaves.
What time zone is Athens/Greece on?
Athens is two hours after GMT (+2).
Does the hotel provide a port/airport transfer service?

Does the hotel allow pets?
Pets are not allowed.
What credit cards do you accept?
MasterCard or  Visa 
How far is the port of Piraeus and how can I reach it?
From the hotel take the metro (green line nr 1) towards Piraeus. Duration : 35 min
Which is the closest beach?
The closest beach is Alimos beach 20-30 minutes by car (9km)
When breakfast starts?
Buffet Breakfast is served daily from 07:00 till 10:30. For guests departing very early in the morning (before 7:00am) , you can ask from reception the evening before for a breakfast box.
What voltage is used in Greece?  Do I need a converter?
In Greece the standard voltage is 230v and the frequency is 50 Hz.  You will need bring your voltage converter and your adaptor. You may always borrow one from our concierge in case you have forgot to carry one.
How do I charge my iPhone in Greece?
If you want to charge your iPhone using a Greek power outlet you'll need to use a Type C USB power adapter and a USB to Apple 30 pin cable - Apple normally supply this USB cable when you buy the iPhone. We will be glad to offer you these adapters.
Do you have smoking rooms?
We have only non-smoking rooms.  Please check your room details to confirm the type of room you have booked. If you are smoking, we kindly advise to consider and book a room category that has a balcony (superior, executive, acropolis suite)
Do you have luggage storage service?
We will be glad to store your luggage from a couple of hours to few days in our storage room with no extra charges.
Do you have Parking at the Hotel?
There is availability of parking at extra cost. We cooperate with "Polis Parking" which is covered, guarded and located in very close proximity to our hotel (100m). The maximum height of car is 2 meters.
In order to enter the Parking you will need a key card which we provide upon check in. Therefore, it is advisable that you stop first at our hotel unload your luggage and then take your car to the parking. You do not need to reserve a parking spot we always have available for our Guests.
How can I arrive from the airport to the hotel ?
We are located next to Omonoia Square station at the heart of Athens below you may read the available options.

By car
Take the Attiki Odos highway with direction to Elefsina: Keep on the right lane. Follow Katehaki exit leading to Messogion Avenue, turn left into kifisias Avenue and after 400 meters right to Alexandras Avenue. Drive till the end and turn left at  Patission Street . Polis Grand is at your right after 700 meters).

By public transportation
By bus: From the arrival terminal take the express bus number X95 and get off at Syntagma square where you have to take the metro (red line 2) direction towards Anthoupoli for 2 stops until Omonoia station. Duration :55-75 min.
By metro/underground: From the arrival terminal take metro line nr 3 (blue line) and change into red line 2 at Syntagma square direction towards Anthoupoli. After two stops get off at Omonoia station. Please note that Metro service is not available during nighttime Duration 45-50 min.
What is the distance from your Hotel to Plaka?
It is a short walk of 15-20 minutes (1,6km)
How do I get from your hotel to the Acropolis?
On feet it is a short walk of 25-30 minutes.
By metro. You take metro red line 2 from Omonoia station, direction towards Hellinikon. After three stops get off at Acropolis Station.
By taxi it is a 10 minute ride.
Is there a taxi service at your hotel?
Yes, we have 24/7 taxis available on call.
Do you have laundry service?
We do offer Laundry services Monday to Saturday (with surcharge).
Do you have a restaurant with Acropolis View?
Our Polis Blue Sky Roof Top Restaurant has magnificent views to the Acropolis, the Hill of Lycabettus  and panoramic view to the rest of Athens

Do you have a pool?
We do not have a pool but you can take your sunbath if your select one of our suites or executive rooms with private verandas and sunbeds.
Do you provide iron and ironing board in the room?
There is an ironing board in all rooms and we gladly provide iron upon request.
Do you have a doctor available in case of emergency?
We have affiliated doctor available on call 24/7
Do you provide beach towels?
Unfortunately no
Do you have gluten free options in your breakfast ?
Yes we have gluten free products on our breakfast buffet.
